Innovation and the investments needed to fuel advanced research must be protected. Thus, relying on patents is a way to ensure a healthy and dynamic innovation ecosystem for the benefit of all.

Our strategy and patent portfolio are built over time to provide our customers with the most robust and reliable technologies and develop the next generation cybersecurity technologies. They are structured around 4 axes:

  • Anti-Tampering, enabling the detection of security risks as well as the detection of invasive attackers;
  • Strong Secret Storage, which uses several innovations to hide and securely use primary secrets;
  • Tunable Cryptography, for data protection purposes, both internally on a chip and externally as a service;
  • Embedded Cybersecurity, which aims to prevent attackers from penetrating through the API or by exploiting vulnerabilities.

Security is a constantly evolving field, as the recent Spectre and Meltdown attacks have shown. For this reason, our portfolio continues to evolve. Secure-IC is committed to a strategic approach to:

  • Provide pre-certified technologies, adapted to all demanding schemes (Common Criteria, FIPS, OSCCA, etc.),
  • Guarantee the same high level of security throughout the various stages of a device’s life (from tape-out to field operations, including the supply/deployment/management stages).

Our intellectual property IP strategy is to strengthen our portfolio with patents that are focused on security services and that contribute to meeting certification schemes.
