Hassan has extensive experience in the technology sector, spanning over a 20-year period. Before spearheading Secure-IC’s development and establishing them as a major force in embedded cybersecurity solutions, Hassan was a former leading executive with Thales and Thomson.
Hassan holds a graduate distinction in Electrical Engineering from the “Institut National des Sciences Appliquées” (INSA), which is further amplified by an MBA distinction from Rennes School of Business.
Hassan is a pioneer, a patriot of Brittany Tech and passionate about delivering solutions that generate the real trust clients deserve.
Sylvain Guilley is co-founder and CTO at Secure-IC. Sylvain is also professor at “Télécom ParisTech”, associate research at “École Normale Supérieure” (ENS), and adjunct professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). His research interests are trusted computing, cyber-physical security, secure prototyping in FPGA and ASIC, and formal / mathematical methods.
Since 2012, he organizes the PROOFS workshop, which brings together researchers whose objective is to increase the trust in the security of embedded systems. Sylvain is also lead editor of international standards, such as ISO/IEC 20897 (Physically Unclonable Functions) and ISO/IEC 20085 (Calibration of non-invasive testing tools).
Sylvain has co-authored 200+ research papers and filed 30+ patents. He is member of the IACR, the IEEE and senior member of the CryptArchi club. He is alumni from “École Polytechnique” and “Télécom ParisTech”.
After graduating from “Institut National des Sciences Appliquées” (INSA) with a degree in electronics, Karine Lorvellec had been working for 12 years as an ASICs designer for broadcast encoders at Thomson. Then, she has joined Secure-IC to manage a team in charge of developing a collection of technologies to answer security concerns rising from our interconnected world.
Charles Thooris was appointed Director of Secure-IC Pte Ltd and Sales Director for Secure-IC in 2014. He was previously in charge of Sales & Marketing of the Asia-Pacific area. He has been based out of Singapore since 2012. Charles is a graduate from the French aerospace engineering school Supaero completed by a master degree in engineering management.
After graduating from Montpellier Business School (MBS) with a degree in Finance, Julie Rosé had been working for 2 years as cost controller at CGI in Rennes. She then went abroad and worked in Canada at the accounting department of the W Hotel in Montreal.
She joined Secure-IC in 2016 as cost controller, and is now Finance and Talent Director.
Youssef Souissi is a senior security expert. After getting his engineering diploma in Computer science and micro-electronics, he obtained a second engineering degree in embedded systems architecture and security, followed by a PhD degree in hardware side-channel analysis on microprocessors. He is an alumnus of École des Mines de Saint-Étienne and Télécom Paris (Institut Polytechnique de Paris).
He has had several roles in Secure-IC as special projects engineer and manager doing advanced research. He was a former head of the Threat Analysis business line in charge of the hardware and software security evaluation for embedded systems, according to international standards as Common Criteria, FIPS and ISO-17825. Currently, he is leading Think Ahead business line for security research, innovation and consulting.
Florent LOZAC’H has a degree in electronics and computer science. For several years he has been designing random generator technologies for ASIC targets in a research Lab of “Institut Mines-Télécom”. He later joined the industry sector and is now leading the Threat Protection Business Line that is designing and deploying Secure-IC’s ASIC hardware and software technologies for embedded systems.
Khaled Karray is a senior expert in embedded system security.
After graduating as an engineer in computer science and telecommunications at the Tunisia Polytechnic School, he obtained a master’s degree from the University of Montpellier (France) in microelectronics. He then enrolled in a PhD program with PSA Group (Stellantis since 2021) at the University of Paris-Saclay (Télécom ParisTech).
He has had several roles in Secure-IC as program manager of pre-silicon security evaluation tools as well as System Level Automotive security.
Currently, Khaled is leading the Threat Analysis Business Line in charge of the development of advanced tools for evaluating hardware and software security of embedded systems.
Yan-Taro Clochard is the director and founder of the branch of Secure-IC in Japan (Secure-IC K.K.). He was also appointed Sales Director for the Northern Asia region and in charge of corporate marketing.
He is a former member of the French Embassy in Japan, developing Science and Technology bilateral cooperation (especially on cybersecurity, 5G, AI, etc.). He previously worked in the Telecommunication industry for Nokia as presales manager for Mobile networks. He graduated in electronics engineering from “École Nationale Supérieure de l’Électronique et de ses Applications” (ENSEA) in France and holds a Master in Business from ESSEC Business School (France/Singapore).
