Press Release – October 4, 2021

Secure-IC announced having won the Born Global Award at the renowned EY Businessman of the Year Awards (i.e. EY Prix de l’Entrepreneur de l’Année™), on September 30 in Nantes. This year, the 29th edition of the award was held under the theme of commitment. More than 350 candidates were interviewed in France, among which 34 in West of France.

Praised for its remarkable capacity for innovation, Secure-IC is recognized as one of the best expert companies in cybersecurity and contributes to a safer world by producing the required technologies to assess the vulnerability of embedded systems. Since its inception, the strength of the company’s business is built on an ambitious strategy of intellectual property protection.

For nearly 10 years, the company has built its growth on a strong international development, with 80 employees present in 20 countries on 5 continents. More than 40 families of international patents and 250 published scientific articles give Secure-IC a leading position in the world of cyber security for embedded systems.

Hassan Triqui, CEO of Secure-IC, received this award for Secure-IC’s international dimension, commitment to certified and standardized cybersecurity and capacity for innovation guaranteed by patents.

“We are proud to receive such a prestigious award from EY, which recognizes the work of all Secure-IC teams. The Born Global award is particularly meaningful to us because it represents us very well. Nothing would have been possible without the trust and recognition of our clients around the world. We will of course continue to develop and work on promoting French scientific excellence and cybersecurity throughout the world,” explains Hassan Triqui.

Next on the agenda: the national edition of EY’s Businessman of the Year Awards!

The Businessman of the Year Award is held throughout France in the provinces of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, East, Île-de-France, North of France, New Aquitaine, West, South-East and Occitanie. The winners in each region will then compete for the national ceremony to be held on Tuesday, November 16 at the Olympia in Paris.

The Businessman of the Year Award is organized by EY, in partnership with HSBC Continental Europe, Verlingue, an insurance broker, and Steelcase, a world leader in office furniture, with the support of Bpifrance and in media partnership with BSMART.
