Preparing for the Post-Quantum Era

As quantum computing advances, organizations must ensure that today’s cryptographic protections remain resilient against future quantum-enabled attacks. The transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) has become a strategic priority for industries requiring long-term data confidentiality and integrity.

For more than a decade, Secure-IC, a Cadence company, has been helping organizations evaluate and strengthen their cryptographic implementations against sophisticated threats. Building on its extensive expertise in security evaluation and its active contribution to the NIST PQC standardization process, Secure-IC provides comprehensive solutions through its Securyzr™ and Analyzr™ platforms to support the adoption of quantum-resistant security.

Analyzr™ delivers advanced verification capabilities for PQC algorithms, including ML-KEM (CRYSTALS-Kyber), ML-DSA (CRYSTALS-Dilithium). This expertise is further demonstrated by Secure-IC’s achievement of the world’s first CAVP (Cryptographic Algorithm Validation Program) Hardware certification for Post-Quantum Cryptography algorithms, reinforcing its leadership in the validation and certification of next-generation cryptographic implementations.

Accelerate Your Expertise with PQC Methodologies

As the industry prepares for the transition to quantum-resistant security, evaluating the robustness and implementation of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) algorithms has become a critical challenge. To support this effort, Secure-IC provides dedicated PQC Methodologies that complement the Analyzr™ platform.

These methodologies enable security teams to rapidly build expertise in PQC implementations, develop evaluation scenarios, assess resistance to side-channel attacks, and prepare the validation and correction of algorithms within a Design-for-Security V-cycle development process. Designed to accelerate knowledge transfer and operational autonomy, they provide a structured framework for analyzing a wide range of PQC algorithms and deployments.

Secure-IC supports security evaluations across a wide range of applications, from smartphones and IoT devices to automotive systems and reverse engineering projects.

Designed to accelerate expertise development, the market methodologies for side-channel provides all the tools, training, and resources needed to ramp up side-channel security evaluations, efficiently and confidently.

PQC Security Evaluation Workflow

  • Security evaluation of a Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) implementation within our Analyzr™ combines side-channel analysis techniques with practical cryptanalytic validation. The process begins with target preparation, where the device, the cryptographic implementation, and measurement setup are configured to ensure repeatable and representative testing conditions.

  • Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) cartography is then used to identify and quantify information leakage, followed by an evaluation of acquisition capacity to determine the trace volume and quality required for analysis.

  • Finally, cryptanalysis verification confirms whether the observed leakage can be exploited to recover sensitive information in realistic attack scenarios. Together, these steps provide a high-level assessment of the implementation’s resistance to side-channel attacks.
