Product Marketing Manager
Permanent contract (CDI), based in Rennes.
Your role and responsibilities
You will report to the Director of Product Management and work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on matters related to the Chip-to-Cloud roadmap, i.e., the development of Secure-IC’s Embedded Software and Cloud offering and the management of this product portfolio (valuation, expertise, internal management, offer positioning, competitive knowledge, etc.). You will also work closely with the technical, sales, and marketing teams and be responsible for coordinating product roadmap topics.
You will be required to present elements of this roadmap, namely the roadmap (timeline, versions, features) of this solution, to Secure-IC’s Executive Committee, clients, and the company. You will be responsible for ensuring the competitiveness of our Software Product portfolio to achieve our strategic objectives in line with our Chip-to-Cloud vision. This is a key role in bridging our technical expertise and our go-to-market strategy, applying our solutions across multiple industries and end customers.
As a Chip-to-Cloud Product Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the definition of an offer suitable for different vertical industry contexts,
- Developing and maintaining documentation for prospects/clients (e.g., datasheets, product sheets, presentations) on your product portfolio,
- Monitoring trends:
- Market trends
- Competition trends
- Standardization and regulation trends
- Maintaining technical knowledge of relevant functions and features by market segment in relation with your product line,
- Gathering information from customers based on reports from sales and pre-sales teams,
- Staying up to date with company information and news, including scientific presentations, market presentations, newsletters, internal training,
- Assisting in the quality process and improvements to be implemented.
Within the Product Management department, you will be required to extend your scope of intervention to other product lines (Securyzr™, Laboryzr™, Expertyzr™) as per the needs of the service.
Education, Experience & Skills
- Master’s degree in electronic engineering / industrial computer science / embedded software / Cloud
- Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software and Cloud, ideally in an industrial environment with strong security constraints
- Some knowledge of physical security (threats, attacks, countermeasures), cryptography
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial electronic system architectures
- Good understanding of constraints related to embedded software, hardware/software interactions
- Knowledge of standards/protocols for cloud solutions
- Familiarity and practice with ISO-9001 certification
- Willingness to learn, proactive, and rigorous
- Ability to understand a scientific article and extract relevant information
- Ability to synthesize/create product information in a pedagogical manner and adapt communication and materials to different audiences (Management, HW design, SW development, Client, Security Experts)
- Ability to review/write detailed documentation in English based on various data
- Good level of English (minimum B2)
